Happy Halloween everyone! The day we wait for all year is finally here. I hope you're all having a wonderful evening watching scary movies, eating treats, and in some cases handing out candy.
I've enjoyed reading your Halloween blog posts today! I tried to think of something to share tonight, that I haven't already shared this past year. Well, I haven't posted anything too scary yet. So, since the sun has gone down and the spirits are out... get ready to get scared! Actually, most of you watch Horror movies all the time and are no doubt too desensitized to be scared of any of this. Still, I tried! :)
First up is a scary ghost video. Just to warn you, this made me flip out so much, that I spilled coffee all over myself! I literally jumped up from the couch and the coffee shot out of my mug like a geyser. I was completely covered in it, but the couch was fine. There's your warning... If you really want to get scared, watch this full screen.

Next up is a short video taken from a gas station
security camera:
How would you like to work at that gas station after watching this footage? Even if you believe the video has been doctored, that's some scary stuff!
Now it's time to party like it's 1938! That year, people turned on their radios to listen to a Halloween special. They were soon flipping out to Orson Welles' The War of the Worlds. Believe it or not, many of the listeners thought that what they were hearing was truly happening. There was actually outrage and panic among those who believed this was a real news report! This may seem silly in today's world, but in 1938 people couldn't check the TV and internet for alien invasion updates.
If you like, you too can listen to the broadcast! Turn up your volume, and put yourself in the shoes of the people listening to what they thought was a news bulletin:
Hopefully, you got a little bit of a scare from this post.
I wish you all a wonderful Halloween evening!
