Michaels Halloween and Some Extra Spirit

I finally have some Michaels pics to share with you guys! I can't believe it took so long to get there and that there was anything left. You know how early the stores put out Halloween stuff. Michaels already had a lot of Christmas out. I'm starting with something that I'm surprised was even at this store. This skull was pretty creepy for Michaels with its glassy eyes and exposed brain.

Here's a better look at the brains:

This is the spider section. Michaels is getting inventive with the spider designs. I'm actually digging the eyeball spider. I think the clown skull spider would work better if it was wearing a top hat.

Michaels had a number of wood paintables left, and many of them light up. How about this Michaels tribute: The "My Ghoul's Crafts" store.

And look, everything is 13% off! Actually the Halloween stuff was 50 to 60% in the real Michaels. I'm wondering how low they'll go after Halloween this year. I'm scoping out a few things in case they're still there after Halloween.

I think it would be fun to paint the details on this wood Apothecary building. If a person had the room for it, they could make a pretty nice wood store/town setup out of these.

They'd dressed up a few skeletons near the door. This one cracked me up. "Manager Mike" was super tiny and must have been wearing a baby shirt.

I really like this pumpkin skeleton. I'm not sure if it was for sale, but if so, this would be a nice after Halloween find.

How about the tail on this skeleton monkey? I thought it was a giant skeleton squirrel until I read the tag!

This bottom wreath is the wallpaper on my phone now. I love the pink, black, and white combination.

It might be hard to tell here, but these are garlands.

There were so many critters on toilets that I assembled them together for a group pic. I don't even know what to make of some of this. The two in the middle are I guess part of the Alice in Wonderland on the toilet collection?

I guess Mr. Hyde is sitting there catching up on his latest exploits in the newspaper.

And what in the heck is going on with The Big Bad Wolf? He's wearing his grandma bonnet while ripping up a red scarf, while sitting on a toilet? I'm laughing right now typing this! Whatever is going on, he sure is angry about it. Oh wait! Is that Little Red Riding Hood's cloak he's holding? I think I'm even more confused now.

In further weirdness, here's Poe in the tub. This must also be part of the bathroom collection. This is getting weirder the more I look at it. He's taking a bath in a suit while holding his skull? I put the Raven back there, because I thought it was fitting.

I may have made this even stranger with that Raven. He's really creeping up on Poe.

There's a Marshalls store near the Michaels and I saw a few things there that I felt like sharing. I like whatever this is.

Hipster skeleton man?

These are actually candleholders. It looks like a taper candle goes in each skull.

I revisited Spirit Halloween earlier in the day and have a bit more to share. They had a few new items in, like this "Vintage Grinning Black Cat Mask".  This looks like a lot of real vintage Halloween props and illustrations. I notice there are mesh parts on the eyes so you can actually see while wearing this.

Oh, The Sinister Villain. Do you think this might be the "Menacing Man" model from earlier? I have questions here. Is this sort of a jack-o-lantern face/Jack Skellington/Beetlejuice man?

Haha! The Cousin Itt Kit. I wonder how this guy is seeing anything.

I may have shared a photo of this Beetlejuice dog costume last year. Even if I did, it's worth posting again. I laugh every time I look at this. Actually, I'm laughing right now. Why do I never see dogs in costumes like this? It might be hard to get a dog to wear this. For all I know, the dogs on these packages were just Photoshopped into the costumes.

This dog has the perfect eyes for this costume.

This witch was a large cut out display above the costumes. That sprinkler on the ceiling gives you an idea of how high she is.

Have you ever seen one of these makeup mixing palettes? It's a lot like an acrylic painter's palette, only you'd be mixing makeup colors on it. I assume you'd stick your thumb through the hole. There isn't a lot of mixing space, but it's cute.

There was a guy in a scream outfit and mask wandering around the Spirit store and I have no idea if he was an employee or just some guy who was in costume. He was slowly following people around the aisles. By the time I decided to leave, he quickly went to the doorway and stood still like he was some kind of prop. So I stopped as I passed him on the way out and sort of looked at him and smiled, but he didn't flinch. So... I don't know. I've always said that there's nothing stopping someone from dressing up and doing whatever in a Spirit Store. I mean, no one is going to know what's up. I'll leave you guys with that thought! 🤣
