Calling all Jack-o-Lanterns!

Sometimes when I meet a new person online, they send me a personal Halloween photo. The photo might be of them in costume, or decorations on their house, but I've mostly been sent photos of the pumpkins they've carved. I'm sure they think I'll be interested because of my screen name, and they're right! I love being sent photos of personal Halloween memories.

After recently collecting a few of these pumpkin photos, it occurred to me that other people might like to see them too. I felt inspired to create a web site to showcase these jack-o-lantern photos. I think sharing our pumpkin creations will be a fun community activity.

Anyone is welcome to send me a photo of a pumpkin they carved, painted, or decorated! You can send your photo or photos to my email address:

contactartgirl@gmail.com

or you can tweet them to me on twitter:

The photos you send me will be added to what I'm calling "The Gallery of Jacks" which is housed here:

As you can see, there are already some pretty cool pumpkins posted! Anytime you want to see the new pumpkin updates to the site, you can click on the little jack-o-lantern on the side of my blog.

I hope to see a lot of pumpkins from you guys! I'm sure you've all created something cool. I think this will be a fun way to connect with new people and share what you've made!
