And the winner is...

Well, I'm not telling you yet! First, I wanted to share a picture of the cute plastic pumpkin I put the contestants' names in:

This was my Trick-or-Treat bucket as a little girl. Doesn't he look great on that pedestal? I had fun posing the pumpkin around the yard for photos today. The neighbors were probably wondering what I was doing, or maybe they've quit wondering by now!

Anyway I reached into my pumpkin and pulled out:

Nice font, eh? I mean, how often do I get to use that one?

Congratulations to The Midnight Brood! Be sure to check out his fun and scary movie themed blog: http://themidnightbrood.blogspot.com/

Midnight Brood ~ If you would please email your address to contactartgirl@gmail.com I will send out your Card Playing Skeleton art print!

Thanks so much to everyone who entered my giveaway and also for leaving me such lovely comments! I plan to do a bigger giveaway if I hit 100 followers someday. :) In the meantime, I'd like to leave something fun for everyone!

I know we've all seen this a million times, but too much is never enough...

  6. Gone Feral ~ Aww, don't worry - I'll have another contest at some point!

L ~ Congrats! I actually just sent you an email, but I'll write you something here too! Well, that's wonderful that you remembered the contest all weekend! That makes me feel even better about sending you this print! :) "The Midnight Brood's on hellfire!" I got a laugh out of that. Yeah, that's the first time I've used that font. You were going to get a dripping blood one, but this was actually cooler.

Thanks for the compliments on my art! :) Yep, there's always more on the way!

VainGlorySinner ~ Yeah, isn't that Jack-o-Lantern great? I feel nostalgic just looking at it here. :) Great! Just think, you'll be all set for Halloween in advance with that card deck. They're fun to sit around as far as decorating goes, especially with the Halloween season approaching!

LuLu ~ I'm with you! I never tire of Beetlejuice either. I honestly could not tell you how many times I've watched it. Maybe 100?

Stacey ~ I agree! Although, I have many favorite parts. Any part where Beeteljuice or the ghost couple are in the dead waiting room is great. Of course Delia's sculptures are hilarious in their way as well. :) Such a classic!

  7. Congratulations to the winner! ALthough im not gonna lie I did almost shed a tear when I didnt see my name and am actually listening to Gloria Gaynor's 'I will survive" soundtrack while im writting this post because if getting one of your great pieces of artwork is wrong damnit i dont wanna be right haha :P

P.S I totally love your Jack-O-Lantern the one that i had as a kid is no more because my german sheperds decided to play catch with it and now instead it looks like a colander.... :'(

  8. Oh no Pixie! Don't cry! Yeah, listening to 'I Will Survive' can get a person through just about anything. Singing along loudly to that song is for extra bad situations, so hopefully you didn't need to do that. :)

You crack me up! A colander? Wow, I guess they really sunk their teeth into it...
